We're searching for all the Leaders ever accredited!
Worldwide, we know that just since 1984, when computer records were begun, there are well over 12,000 retired Leaders. Unfortunately, LLL has lost contact with too many of these wonderful women over the years. Area Alumnae Representatives are helping to locate, re-connect, and re-establish relationships throughout La Leche League!As the number of Alumnae members increases, the Area Alumnae Representatives (AARs) find their roles expanding too. As time permits, in addition to finding and connecting with retired Leaders, they may also coordinate Alum / Retired Leader gatherings at Area Conferences, participate in Area Councils, plan social activities, and assist with other Area projects. And they promote the LLLI Alumnae Association wherever they go.
