LLL of Missouri was founded in ____.

Wendy Squires (daughter of retired LLL Leader) ~ I remember my Mom, Gail Schafluetzel, having LLL meetings in our basement. What stands out the most was the wonderfully healthy food that was always present at the meetings. This has stuck with me through my years. I also remember Mom (as an LLL Leader) on the phone answering questions to ladies that were having trouble breastfeeding or maybe just had a question. I used to make sure I was in earshot when the phone rang so that I could listen and learn...and boy did I. I am now 34 and breastfed both of my daughters successfully...I have also been in the US Air Force for 15 years. If I can do it ANYONE can.
