Empty Nesters
Do you have grown children who have left or are leaving the nest?
Empty-Nesters focuses on sharing and support as participants move into the next phases of their lives after children have left the nest (or even returned to the nest for awhile). It’s about acceptance and tolerance and adjustments and friendships. It’s about all the things we first found in La Leche League and we want to continue in our lives even though our little ones are now grown. Full and complete confidentiality is expected on the list. Are you caring for dependent and/or aging parents, inlaws, or other elders?

Are you feeling older than the new moms in your group? Perhaps your children are weaned and you have school-aged children? Marital Changes provides support for members facing separation, divorce, or decisions about related issues. It is about self-nurturing and keeping balanced while navigating uncharted territories. Do you have a close family member with a mental illness?
Reality Check offers resources, coping skills, and shared experiences for those who have a family member with a mental illness. It is about staying sane while in the maze of psychological issues, family dynamcs, and health care systems.
